Being equipped with good weapons is a definite edge in Ninja Warz. Even if you are disadvantaged in the power department or if you don’t have that many high-end relics yet to boost your power or speed or critical hits, you can compensate by having great weapons.
This is where having many good allies come in. If you don’t have enough money to buy high-end weapons, you will have to settle for the free Ninja Warz weapon gifts. 
In terms of choosing your Ninja Warz weapons, I think speed kills so you may want to prioritize speed over the DPS (damage per strike).
