Well because you can only train your fighter when you have energy. Through training you can increase the health and stamina damage that your fighter possesses.
As I mentioned it’s best if you have lots of friends because then they can send you a lot of energy packs or drinks. So you can train your fighter for a long time, increase its damage capability so you can kick the assess of your friends who play the same game.
But once all those freebies run out, the next best thing to getting energy is to fight. First on sparring with other amateurs. If you’re just starting up, don’t kid yourself and spar with Pros– you’ll just get beat, over and over again. Start with amateurs. Look for opponents who are on your level or lower. This way you get lots of experience which helps you level up. Once you level up, you will again have your energy replenished so you can go ahead and train your fighter.
Fighting or sparring with your friends get you experience as well. The good thing with sparring with your friends is that you’re getting precious experience to level up and at the same time, your health and stamina is not affected. This is not the same thing when fighting with other fighters who are not your friends, this kind of fight will deplete your health and stamina and you need to replenish them! The good thing is that fighting with other amateurs will gain you lots of credibility points that you can use to purchase/replenish your health and stamina. Just take note though that if you lose, the amount of credibility points and experience will be much lower than the advertised points should you win. Sucks huh.
Of course sooner or later you will run out of credibility points and you can no longer replinish yoiur health & stamina to be able to fight other fighters, so you’ll have to stick to sparring with friends which still can get you experience (no credibility points though) points. As I said once the experience piles up, you level up, your energy is replenished, and you can train your fighter some more.
